So what happenend on the M3 this morning?

All I can find is that an "incident" led to closure of the M-way between 4 and 3. Didn't really explain why I had the pleasure of being stationary for vast tracts of time while desperate for a pee.......

I'll just talk to myself then!

Another possible "block through the windscreen" job allegedly! FFS why do some people have to do this sort of thing:

BBC:

Motorway closed after suspicious death

A stretch of the M3 in Surrey has been closed following the suspicious death of a lorry driver.
Surrey Police said the man, believed to be in his 50s, appeared to have been killed by an object which had gone through the windscreen of his vehicle.

He was found in his cab in the early hours of Friday.

The northbound carriageway of the motorway remained closed at 1200 GMT between junction four at Frimley and three at Lightwater.

A Highways Agency spokeswoman said it was expected to re-open at 1400 GMT on Friday.

Officers investigating the incident have appealed for anyone who witnessed it to contact them.

A Surrey Police spokeswoman said: "It would appear that an object has gone through the windscreen of an articulated lorry, which has led to the death of the driver."

She was unable to confirm what the object was.

Oh bugger. I've got to pick my brother up from Heathow tonight. Hope its cleared by then...

Why do these things happen. What possible reason could anyone have for harming someone like that.

Whoever it was (if it was someone doing it deliberately) I hope they roast..

Ron,

Had a quick journey into work as a result of this, but I think this is where the last incident like this happened.

Fortunately the guy who it happened to last time survived and is now living in Bagshot !

I can remember a previous one that happened down at Hook, poor chap in an Escort bought it at 7:00 one evening - he was just going about his business, on his way home for tea.

It was a bunch of local kids - and i mean kids, they were'nt even teenagers and I'm pretty sure they never got done for it

Where are the parents in all this!

(Oh and they duffed up an old chap two months later who had the temerity to tell the police that he overheard them bragging about it! Didn't get done for that either!)

Blood pressure up, now - think nice calming thoughts of TVRs cruising across the countryside, cool beers and fast women.....(not at the same time of course).....

Not at the same time?

What if the women are driving TVRs fast, wearing skimpy light clothing whilst you sit in the passenger seat of one basking in the sun and sipping a cool beer...?

That works for me.
