No this is MG's own work nothing to do with Nissan. Designed in the UK and with a bit of luck also build there. It is based partly on the 75/ZT from which the Roewe 550 was born. According to China Cartimes the pictures don't do it any justice and in the flesh it really looks very good.

I think it looks quite good, but as already mentioned it is an amalgam of every other fleet favourite. Atleast the 75/ZT look individual, although that might not have helped matters..
