I did see it and thought it was a joke. But a quick google would suggest it is real.

Thing is, people would actually buy it. For example, all those celebs who MUST have a Prius can now have a save-the-world Roller instead.

While the timing is pretty suspect, the electric Phantom is an actual car having seen it make its debut at the Geneva Show last month.

Here's a picture of the power plant. Notable absence of a petrol engine is evident.
