Hi,

Long story short...lots of work done but someone else removed my PAS pump etc. Now reconnecting and can see HP banjo con to the pump and LP reservoir hose to the pump.

1.) Where does the top hose from the reservoir connect to?
3.) I have one open end on the steering rack female threaded connections...is it for a vent or blank because I have nothing in the parts box for it?

Cheers.

One of the connections goes to a barbed connector in the rack.. I suspect that is the missing one for you.

Although I've never checked, logically the lower reservoir connection should go to the pump, and the return from the rack should go to the upper reservoir inlet

Bizarrely I found I had a PS leak last week, and it drained half the reservoir

It wasn't at all obvious where it was coming from, but in the end I found that the hard line connection in the centre of the rack was loose, even though I hadn't touched it for years

Great thanks guys.

Thats my logic, bottom con is low pressure from resi to pump and high to resi is return or vent. Totally makes sense now with the barbed connection. 👍🏻

Looking at the PAS today the upper most connection on the reservoir is 5/8 and the lower 1/2” so the lower looks like the return from the rack.

Here's a photo of a removed reservoir showing what you found
