Cerbera 4.5 long Induction hoses
Discussion
Hello and good afternoon. For a year now I am the proud owner of a 4.5 Cerbera that is battling with a set of short induction hoses that have been initially cut or a little wrong and have a tendency to come adrift from the air box.......really irritating
From what I can gather there a a few paths open to replace - ACT - lovely but pricey - TVR parts only one side available - so no good - new Whirlwind set from Joolz (considered) or the route back to basics.
The car is not mapped as far as I can gather but has the cooling chip fitted.
Now to my question - has anybody got a good set of 8 long induction hoses lying around gathering dust they would
consider perhaps selling ???

Hope that works - the car in question....
Many thanks in advance

Hello Simon,
The car runs very well with no loss of power and basically pulls like a train. I don’t think it has been mapped, and from the paper work I have and the history I found out only had the cooling chip and the short hoses added. The driver side ones might have been cut short on the back I.e. weren’t done properly I think. They simply are just very very short on the bottom side and have a tendency to come off there. Think I could go with a fresh short set or go back to the originals for a bit more bottom grunt. Might look into mapping next year if I go short again.... this year swallowed up some funds already - new lambdas were one issue which cured the 2 k rpm shunting.....
