South Wales Cerbera Help

A speculative request but as and when my house sale goes through I am hoping to get back into the lost world of TVR vacates by me too many years ago.

We are moving to Abergavenny and I was wondering if any Cerbera owners in the local area would consider popping by - I need to see if the car would fit in ten garage and start the softening up campaign on the domestic long haired General.

At 1865mm wide at the mirror edges I think a Cerbera will fit inside most garages. The problem is usually the "getting out of the car" once it's inside the said garage. Because the doors are so long, they need to be opened quite a way for the average bloke/girl to get in/out. Herein lies the usual problem associated with internal garage widths regarding the TVR Cerbera.

Carpet along the garage walls. Swimming pool foam noodle floats at the front are good impact absorbers.
Drive the car in, then angle it to the left. Slide the seat as far back as it will go to get out.

I own a cerbera and I’m based in South Wales, when the weather changes a may just MOT and take it out this year. If you are still stuck and need to check in a couple of months I’m happy to test it with you.

How wide is your garage? I can try measuring the minimum distance I need to get in and out of mine if it helps?

The wing mirrors barely protrude from the body work which helps when parking the passenger side right up against one side of the garage.

I folded my mirrors in the other day and noticed that they retract well inside the extent of the bodywork

I had a quick measure up. I reckon if you park the passenger side tight up against the wall with about 5-8cm clearance you can open the drivers side door just enough to stagger out with a total width of 235cm, give or take. You would need to line your garage wall with something soft as you will end up putting outward pressure on the door. No way around it.

That's with the seat pushed all the way back and window half way down. Access is a little better with the window all the way down. If you are a slightly bigger build you will need more space.
