They have been doing them for a while.. Bought a new oil pressure/water temp gauge from them last year.

Indeed, I would want oil temp and oil pressure in one combined gauge.

Where is it fitted?

Could it be a dual sensor as in pressure and temp, don't know if possible. If possible it could sit under the coils.

I'm guessing the most important thing to see is the temp of the oil as it enters the engine

So that would mean putting the sensor in the flow from the oil cooler to the engine where the filter is located via a sandwich plate

Does that make sense?

I have the oil temp gauge replacing the clock and the sensor is in a sandwich plate on the filter.

Thanks Peter, I'll try to copy you then

However I might have problems with the additional space taken up by the sandwich plate, as I am using the synthetic media filter V8F 8990 which is larger than standard

Can you recommend a particular sandwich plate?
