I have popped over from the Chim forum for some advice guys ... :-)

I have recently done the 5 stud hub conversion on my 99 Chim and the 4 pot Cerb brakes:

I am looking to put locking wheel nuts on the car now I have refurbished 16' spiders on the car ... Does anyone know the correct lockable bolts for the hubs / spiders?

Thanks

Chris

If I remember correctly from my last Cerbera, a set of locking wheel nuts from a Jeep Cherokee was exactly right. If you're using the Cerbera studs that is.

Amended: The thread is 1/2" UNF I think but you'll need to check for sure. A lot cheaper too!

Here's an example for £9:

Correct about being the same as a Jeep, but they are 1/2" UNF thread.

I thought (but I could be wrong) the Chimaera 5 stud conversion used Ford Granada hubs and just the calipers from a Cerb?

If I'm correct the stud threads will be M12 x 1.5 .... scratchchin Can you post a close up photo of one of your studs without a nut on?

Do you live or leave your car in dodgey areas?
May be not as secure as a locking wheelnut (which may deter some scumbag oik but a "professional" thief will probably have them off in seconds?)) but how about Tuner nuts
