An interesting one.
Tried to flash hazards yesterday to thank an HGV driver for letting me past, no response. Attempted hazards several times, no go. Indicators are fine. Recent work to replace ribbon cables so thought the pcb board might have been disturbed. Put the car to bed, unlocked in garage. Came down this morning to find hazards on!! I swear that this car is alive! Fortunately there was enough juice in the battery to open the door and get the charger connected.

Thanks for the suggestion. How can I identify the relay?

checked the switch on the end of the indicators?
It pops out. I found mine had been twisted several times so the wires were twisted and tight then they'd frayed...

Put the hazards on and listen/feel for the click smile

I think it’s in the rear fuse box.

The push-button end (alloy button screws onto plastic button plunger)

The PCB terminal end (They are 'crushed' spade terminals)

Attached to the PCB....

On closer inspection, it looks as if some Caveman has replaced the original MOLEX females with crushed Spade Terminals banghead

and while we're on the subject

Anyone have a clever way to thread the hazard warning cable up the indicator arm ??

Jut found that the 'original' cable was 4-core and, as I only need 2 to operate the Hazard Warning button, I've stripped the 2 I need out and they thread a treat down the Indicator Arm.

Ta !
