Anyone know an equivalent mirror drive motor to the one fitted to the cerb.
It is a VW Carrado mirror I know. The motor is a 4 fixing screw onto posts motor the ones I can find seem to be 3 fixing screws.
I have power to the motor the clutch works but no tilt at all.
The mirror glass is heated.
I know I can just push it into position but I would like to get it working correctly.
Thanks Tony

My cover’s off at the moment, as I’m half way through replacing the button.

The four fixings around the motor (mine only had Three actually fitted), seemed to just hold the rear of the mirror casing (scalp) to the motor.

That and One tiny fixing underneath.

Yes the four screw go through the white motor assembly and the plastic cover and fix the whole assembly to the mirror casing.
When you take the 4 screws out you have 4 wires going through the back plastic case to the clutch and drive motors.
The mirror case has 4 pillars that the motor assembly fits over and is screwed down by the 4 fixing screws.
When I say I can only find 3 screw fixing motors they are in a triangular orientation not 4 as in a square orientation.
Thanks anyway.
