Seal for the air filter box V8

What do you guys use as a seal between the unserside of this box and the body? I mean the box which is clipped to the body in the nose section.

It's just foam tape isn't it? It's not exposed to oil so would standard door strip stuff work?

I guess so too...... I stripped the box for the painter and lealed off a thin rubber type of seal that was wrapped around the box.....

I use this for the front air box that covers the air filter and the two air boxes that are mounted on the throttle body. All should be fitted with a foam strip to seal them in place.

The thing to look for is a self adhesive foam strip that is 'closed-cell' so the air doesn't leak through the form....
