Clutch feels like its grinding!!!!

Could it be the release bearing?? And how difficult to change??

One thing after another!!!!! But the cars fast!!!!!!!

Do you mean the pedal, or the clutch itself?

Well, when the car is switched off the clutch feels sweet but when i start the car and press the pedal you get a grinding feeling come up through the pedal.

yeah!

Master and slave were changed not too long ago!

Grinding sounds a bit too much like dodgy fingers to me......I hope Im wrong though!

How many mile is a Cerb clutch good for anyway, with 'average' usage ? whatever average means.

The clutch in my Cerb was replaced at 12K and it has now done 35K so 23K on the second one.

Just looking for something else to worry about.

Had the same symptoms with mine couple of months ago!
Turned out to be broken fingers..
All sorted now, but about 4 weeks wait for a clutch assembly though ...

Varies from car to car. I guess there are cars with higher mileages and still on their original clutch. On the other hand, some can only do a few thousand, and they go. The fingers braking seem to be a big problem.

Bad design, dont know. But they do.
