I currently have a Lotus Turbo Esprit and am conisdering a cerbera.

Any advice is appreciated, especially any links you guys may have to buying guides (what to look for etc)

These are three good links, especially the top one, which has some good info on problems over 12months. Also, see SXS's 'sticky' thread at the top of the page for common problems.

Spent loads of time searching the threads, and then actually got into one and drove it.

I am now the happy owner of a 4.5 cerbie!

You can think and logic all you like, but if you want one, you'll get one!

Just be prepared for the financial hit...

I also used to own an Esprit S4, loved it but decided to change it for my Cerbera, totally different car so you can't really compare the two. The handling is better in the Esprit but you just can't beat the raw power & noise that the Cerb makes, it is just great!

You will love it!

I searched various sites then arranged a test drive just as the next step...30 mins. later I was producing the plastic on the counter...LOVE at first drive !!! All I can say is trade the car, sell the wife and throw in the Grandma it will be worth it believe me!!! No hesitation the absolute cats whiskers
