They were fitted to my old cerbera (before I bought it). I can assure you that £2.5K is a good price bearing in mind what they cost new.
I understand they are awesome.
My um cough P1 has got alcon brakes that cost some £2.5K. I doubt they are anywhere as good as Dannys brakes.
Stop being tight, if you want some decent brakes then give Danny a shout.

You only really need brakes like those if your doing track days with sticky slicks. So long as your brakes can exceed the grip of the tyres and not overheat / fade on a track day then you're sorted. I've got the Joospeed AP grooved bigger front discs on my Cerb and it does everything I need for less than a third of the price, bargain.

I guess that is in your opinion? I have rally car based brakes and I dont feel they are track only or for slicks. I dont believe that Danny's/James' old brakes are track only either. Clearly they will make a tracked TVR the ultimate ! Nitrons / Ohlins plus these brakes will make the car awesome!
Of course IMHO..........goes without saying really
Must admit though I've never seen a rally car running full slicks!
Seem to recall that Danny's car did run slicks on track days in which case I can see the point of the brakes, could be wrong on that though.
Just wanted to dispel the myth that massive brakes improve stopping power, this is governed by grip (try some 2CV tyres on the front of your motor and see what happens). In fact you can lose the balance of the car under braking if you put massive front discs and calipers on while leaving the rears stock.
I ran my Taz race car last year on bog standard £25 each vented front granada discs, they lasted the whole year without problems although they were a bit soft towards the end of the season, most likely due to the seals wearing. Next year we'll be running about 300hp and grippier tyres. Initial testing will be done with the current discs and calipers. If we can easily lock the fronts and they don't overheat then we'll keep em cos the car had nice balance this year, if not we'll upgrade and take the weight penalty. Point is the brakes won't be any bigger than they need to be cos this increases cost and weight( I can't afford carbon ones before anyone asks!!!!!)
Ceejay (all IMHO again!!!!!!)
