Was just pondering this over lunch... If my understanding is correct it is a fluid-filled diff which is why its speed rather than torque sensitive.
During winter the liquid will therefore be cooler and therefore less viscous - how would this affect the handling if the diff was really put to use?
Would it warm up to a sufficient level so as not to be an issue after 10 mins or so?
