Doors opened automatically!!!!!

My 4.5 had been going great until a couple of months ago. Since then I've had the lights stop working, boot and drivers door not opening, windscreen wipers not working and numerous other "niggles". Anyway, all sorted or so i thought.
Today I was driving along and the doors both opened by themselves! The button in the centre console was flashing intermittently. Says in the manual this means there is a fault. Any ideas?
Really don't want to have to take the car back down to Edinburgh yet again!

Also, do a search under past threads, to see if you find anything else. Worth checking the little magnet at the bottom of the door/doors.
