Will the AA know how to open my car - I can't !!
Discussion
Hi
Hopefully the answer will be 'yes', but will the AA know the 'secret' way to get into my Cerbera? The battery went flat at Xmas cuasing untold heartache (and earache!). Luckily I opened the bonnet just before the battery went flat, I've recharged the battery, but now neither the doors or boot open. I know from the forums that hopefully disconnecting the door/window control box in the boot will reset these.
I just want the AA to come and open the boot for me so I can get to the box but not sure if they have this detail of specialist knowledge.
Cheers
Braddy

I once heard that they do get some specialist training on TVRs and the like and an AA chap once showed me his clever van computer, which is a database of AA knowledge so they might well know...
However when I asked the AA to inspect my old S3 before purchase they didn't even have it listed, so don't hold out too much hope.

I think the reason your getting oblique posts is that teaching people we don't know well how to steal a Cerbera is not thought to be good form.
See Teds posts above.
No offence but 19 posts doesn't make you a well know entity. If you ring your local dealer they won't give you that information unless they know you or you take your logbook to them. In either case they would be happy to help. They are this obstructive for very good reason.
However unless Tyre smoke knows you personally I think emailing you the answer to your question was unwise.

I have Emailed braddy the necessary information. He is not known personally to me, but his reply has me convinced he is a genuine Cerb owner in need of help. To be cautious is good, but just because someone doesn't post often doesn't make them a potential thief. A quick check of his profile would have put your mind at rest.
Anyway, hopefully it has all ended well and braddy is back on hooning form!

Whoo Hoo - thanks to the help from the people on here I've manged to get back in and had a great run today.
I'd re-charged the battery a couple of days ago, but that didn' help. A previous topic suggested this was sometimes a problem and that the Window/Door control box needed resetting. When I eventually got in, unplugging the connections seemed to sort it all out. A quick 70 mile run today has hopefully got the battery charged up again and made me feel glad to be alive
Thanks again for the help
