Red callipers look kinda nice (I've got silver alloys). What do you recon, pointless/unnecessary or a worthwhile touch? Im of the 'if it aint broke...' ilk (on good days)

Do you want the calipers to stand out and be "remarkable"/seperate from the car, or to blend in and be a piece of the whole?

If the former then red (traditional) or yellow (to match the car) would both be great, otherwise I would stick with the black...

I quite fancy the detailing paint idea though...hmmm

I have seen the AP Racing painted yellow and it looks pretty good so would go with that option, (although would probably look more standard spec in red) Having the whole calliper red unless professionally done, will look a bit Halfords (only my opinion!)

Im not really sure what I want. Something that stands out would be nice, but I wasnt sure whether calliper detailing was considered cool Red or yellow sound good, I wonder what colour would look best on a yellow cerb.

Yes, but only on the 4.5 i think.

Did mine in red, too... just a tub of Foliatec caliper paint. Don't think yellow on yellow gives enough contrast. Would go for black with white lettering, otherwise.

All Cerbs have AP brakes, AFAIK.

My front ones are yellow.... with a mixture of red/silver detailing... they look the dogs dangleeees.... but took me ages, multiple coats to make sure I get a brittle free job....

Cant wait till she comes back, I'm gonna start detailing my lips to her... miss tvr driving 'badly!'....

My 96 4.2 came with AP brakes.... I think it's just the 4.5 have slightly bigger discs.
