Do you want the calipers to stand out and be "remarkable"/seperate from the car, or to blend in and be a piece of the whole?
If the former then red (traditional) or yellow (to match the car) would both be great, otherwise I would stick with the black...
I quite fancy the detailing paint idea though...hmmm

My front ones are yellow.... with a mixture of red/silver detailing... they look the dogs dangleeees.... but took me ages, multiple coats to make sure I get a brittle free job....
Cant wait till she comes back, I'm gonna start detailing my lips to her... miss tvr driving 'badly!'....
