She's just dripping

Well it would seem I need a new Rad, or at least an overhaul. I have been losing water for a week or so and topping up with 250ml on a daily basis. For the past 2 days I have been at home with some sort of a Virus and I have just taken a look under the car in the drive. I would seem that I have lost about 1/2ltr and it is coming from the Rad.

Do people re core rads still? I guess this is a TVR only part and not one that I could find in my local Motor Factors?

Oh its a 4.2 and I am in Southend.

Can get someone like APM to supply and fit a recored rad. think the rads are about £200 olus a couple of hrs? So £300 all in? I GUESS !

Joolz recored mine 8 mths ago. Warranty (WH) even covered the bill.

No Warranty! I am trying to find someone local, APM so far.

I am not fussed about fitting it, just need to get it re-cored.

Is it a TVR only part???

You can get a custom alloy one for around 300 quids if you look around

Its based on a Land Rover radiator, but with the inlet/outlet in different positions.

if you can take the old one out you could take it down to lookers at hadleigh to see if it's the same as a landrover one? but i expect if its the same they want lot's ££££££££'s for one

Serck Motorsport can do it but have know idea how much or how long!

Also looks as if County Radiators can do it in Basildon.
