100 amp fuse in Derby?

Anyone know where I can get one of the infamous 100A fuses in Derby? I've tried Halford but they don't have any (not in their ICE dept either).

RS components part No. 242-1077 or failing that email me and I'll send you one.

I got one (in Surrey) and I dont even have a cerb any more.

If you really need the car then most people just put the two contacts on the one post and screw them down to get by for the short term.

Thats why there are kids seats in the back.
When the fuse goes, aqueeze a spare child between engine and bulkhead with some tin foil.

I will of course carry a spare in future but there's nothing like experiencing the failure to make you aware of the symptoms/need for a spare

Seems to be a combination of heat, vibration and sods law

Agree with Andy - just stick the two contacts together in the short term. I ended up doing this for about a week or so whilst waiting for a new fuse (doubt the contacts would take much more than about 100A themselves)

Thanks - managed to get some at an old style motor factors.

Starter motor is just spinning now when trying to start the car. Don't really understand why that might start to play up - sounds like it's not engaging or are they pre-engaged and it's just kerknackered?
