Looking for chassis corrosion

With all the threads on the Cerbera and Chimaera sections at the moment I get a little worried about the condition of the chassis on the Cerbs I’m looking at. Where are the places to look for corrosion during inspection? Are there telltale areas that give an indication as to the condition of the unseen sections?

I think the front of the outriggers are a good place to start along with the upper front wishbones.

However, it appears that the outriggers corrode from the inner edge where teh body sits over it so it will be hard to spot.

Most common spots are the outriggers (chassis side rails) and wishbones. Also the main box section at the fromt of the car under the bonnet.
Basically any part of the chassis you can see needs to be checked, light surface rust is fairly common but needs to be sorted.
Check how often the owners wax-oil their cars and when it was last done (receipts to back up?) Can you see evidence of this having been done?
Also be on the lookout for owners trying to hide rust patches with paint etc. If you see only small patches of the chassis having been treated this could be a good indication.
