Airbox Pipe?

Whilst cleaning underneath the detachable panel at the back edge of the bonnet today, I noticed a black rubber pipe had come off a connector on the back edge of the passenger side airbox, the plastic connector looks damaged too. She's a 2003 4.5. Anyone know what this pipe does as it seems to disappears into the bulkhead.Don't think it's a drain as it's right in the centre of the airbox end.

I believe its a barometric pressure sensor, used by the ECU.

Funnily enough I snapped mine last week, I think they go brittle with heat. reminded me I must go and get a new tail to bond in place.

Thanks Tim, Jason at TVR Power has confirmed this. Not sure how much effect it has on the ECU, but suspect it's minimal. The only thing I have noticed recently is if I open Her up a bit then loose off the throttle for say 15 sec when I give Her throttle again She seems to stutter a bit but this may not be related. Thanks again.
