mine seems to run better on unleaded

Hi all! Ive done 500 miles in the beast this weekend!
Friday i had a run to scarborough with my biker mates and skeggy on sat and the yorkshire dales on sunday!
It never missed a beat!
But in scarborough i was stuck for optimax so i had to put unleaded in it, and it seemed to be a lot smoother to drive, with just as much torque!
I wondered if anyone else had the same experience
I do have a 96 4.2 with a austec remap!
Oh and i did have a little play with a 2001 911 turbo, at the traffic lights
( oh my god, his blonde passenger looked very dissapointed )haha, he caught me up at the next set of lights which obviously made me and my other halfs day! Then i let him overtake by waving my hand out the window, which really got him pisst! haha
