I need a dipstick

Hi, had the same trouble with mine last year, got a later style one from local dealer [comes out on right hand side of engine at the front] it was only about £20 and fitted it myself, fairly straight forward.

I welded mine back up again when that happened to me, as a temporary measure.

2 years later it's still going strong!

Dude did you have to put a different sump in to change the dipstick?

I was under the impression that the new style require the new sump.

Mine snapped (old style) and I've just had a different, better handle welded to the top and it now feels much stronger .

No same sump just new dipstick and tube and brass type compression olive.
