Any ideas?

evening all, on from my "When Wipers Meet" thread last week, I tested the wiper control box and it checked out ok, so I changed the wiper motor thinking it must be that. The old one was very very black, charred and uber smelly of burnt electrics, so I thought great, change the motor and job done. Oh no no no, it's still not working, so I put a voltmeter on the plug coming out of bulkhead and now find there is no voltage actually getting to the plug in the first place. :angry: . The steering wheel control box is functioning ok, as the test modes for full beam works with the wash/wash-wipe steering wheel buttons. The fuse which is on the same bank as the mirrors is ok and as there is no relay for the wipers I've basically come to a halt in my tracing of the problem and have put some rain-x on to keep me mobile. Anyone any ideas on this one??

Suggest you try running a wire providing direct power, to prove that you can get the wipers to work. If that works, then rather than waste time trying to find where the break is, run a replacement following the current one.

Cheers Steve. Anyone know the correct numbering on the output plug for the live feed? I'm assuming it's the red one, but this IS a TVR after all....
