what real gains are there in using an EMERALD ECU can it get more power from my 4.2 cerby
that the MBE can't whats the pro's in getting one ????

Not much to be gained from mapping a 4.2 they're very good as standard (unlike the 4.5).

Unless you do other mods like porting the throttle bodies and decatting etc then there's no point to fitting an emerald or other aftermarket ECU on the 4.2's .
If you're a tinkering type though and plan to keep the car awhile and keep modifying it then go for it otherwise you're paying out every time you make a modification
