Built in Sat Nav

Was this an option or has he done it himself? Ive always had the idea that when i get my cerb then ill get a tom tom ann basically build it into the dash someware. Has anybody done anything similar or have any other good sat nav solutions?

I have a garmin I3. Small unit that I can shove 'into' the roll bar over the rear view mirror. Am still tempted to make a carbon fibre or leather holder for it to make it 'built-in'.
There are a few cerbs with pop up screens out of the din slot that are used as sat nav.

I have a TomTom one which works surprisingly well in the cubby hole underneath the stereo. I've taken the low tech approach of using a beanbag to rest it on which works well as it keeps the screen out of direct sunlight. The added advantage is that I can put the beanbag over the front of the TomTom hiding it from view when I leave the car.

Oh WOW, i didnt even know that you could get such a thing, thats amazing! Wot is it and how much? Ive only used tom tom, is it as good as this or better/worse?

You can also get head units that look like radios with sat nav built in. You just get arrows on the screen pointing you in the right direction.
