Cerbs and emission testing...

Its generally acknowledged that cerbies struggle to pass the MOT emissions test even when everything on the car works and you have the catylsts fitted
Now mine has just failed the MOT , mainly I think due to it running off the battery as the alternator wasn't charging.
This is now fixed but I was planning to fit a high resistance pot in line with the air or coolant temp sensor so I can crudely lean it off a bit, or pull a couple of injector leads off

Any Ideas?
Failing that can anyone reccommend a Cerby friendly MOT garage in northants?

Check that they are using the correct limits for the test. TVR's only need to pass the VERY basic ems test as far as the MoT goes. They should not have to meet the limits for say a 1998 vehicle.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it should be somewhere around the 1993 post cat rule change for the limits they need.

Have a search on the forum as someone found out the exact details a litle while ago.

Take it to Topcats Racing over near Aylesbury. They will arrange the MOT for you
