Coolant pipe layout

Can anyone send me either some pictures or a brief description of the layout of the coolant hoses and pipes in front of the engine. In particular which of the two hard pipes connect to the drivers side coolant rail on the engine and to the pump inlet/outlet (not sure which!) on the bottom of the block. And just out of curiosity how does the system flow directionwise? Thanks!!

I re-did my cooling system last winter and replaced the steel pipes with stainless ones from ACT. I took some photos, but it may take me a while to find them... I will have a look.

The pipe with the sensors in connects to both the engine hard pipes.

First fit the other pipe with the more shallow bend into the pipe coming from the water pump. Then fit the more accute bend to the bottom of the Rad.

Now fit the other pipe connecting it to the stat housing unit and the 2 pipes that come down from the heads.

Did you note which of the cab heater pipes connects to which metal pipe? If not I'll go and look as I cant remember off the top of my head.

I don't think that matters as its simply in/out of the matrix heater. The lower coolant flexible pipe that comes from the block must be an unusual shape as the ends are offset and not in line - I think I'll get a special one to make sure it isn't kinked. I've got the ACT kit, and apart from this the only other issue I've had was that my radiator doesn't have a 90 degree exit on the drivers side which apparently most Cerbs do..............

Ridds, Whats that 'big thing' strapped to the front chassis rail in front of the radiators, just in front of where the W'screen washer bcontainer normally sits?

Yep sure is.

Works great too. Was a little concerned about it but has been fine. Even allowed a swap in 20 mins when the first pump caught fire after 10 mins of running.

Odd about your rad. Must make it fun getting the pipe on! The angled ones are tricky ebough.

Nah! Ordered some samco 'superflex' hose - wasn't cheap mind!! It has a steel wire spiral bound so it flexes in all shapes/angles without caving in. Problem solved!!
