why was the AJP V8 only used in the cerbera?
why not keep it on for the Tamora's and tuscans etc?
was it too expensive or something

Cost.

Emissions.

A few bad decisions.

Someone favoured the Cerb as a flagship?

Emissions can be a right arse but I got mine through an MoT at a non-TVR garage in November. It was tricky but achievable by no-one but *me* with a laptop, so I don't think it would have taken too much mapping by TVR to make it compliant.

Yep when it all went tits up I think Riccardo were being tasked with making the SpeedSix Euro V compliant (or some such lentilist benchmark) - I don't think the 8 stood a chance of making that and you can also see the commercial sense behind 1 engine (in 2 sizes) across the board.

the TVRCC don't think so .. it doesnt even feature as an alternative in their best tvr poll frown I've never seen none of the above get so many votes hehe major cock-up by someone in a cloth cap there methinks.

Clowns. Anyway, all get on there, and vote for "none of the above" (currently in 3rd place biggrin).

Reminds me of Brewster's Millions.

Agreed a staggering cock-up !, but getting back to the original question I don't think the AJP8 would suit the SP6 cars in road going form as well as the SP6 (AJP6 ?) does - for the track it might be a different proposition.
