Tyre sizes - I'm confused
Discussion
Hi All,
I know this has been done to death but I'm confused.
Can someone please confirm standard tyre sizes for a RL 17" shod Cerb'.
I think it's:
245/45/R17 <--Rear
225/45/R17 <--Front
Is that right?
Okay, so my next question. what's the largest tyre width that will fit without fouling the wheel arch?
If we're looking at 245/45/17 that matches, in rolling radius, 275/40/17. So, is that an option or is that too wide?
I'm looking at R888 or my favored, Dunlop DZ02G or the replacement: DZ03G as I can spec hardness and they're list 1B. But Toyo don't offer the R888 in 245/45/17.
Any suggestions welcome.
Tim

This is a good guide Tim, but you'll need to know the width of the RL rims.
