Flywheel/crank balancing
Discussion
Rv8 cars weren't balanced to any exacting standards afik. I thing the cranks would be balanced to the internal componants (the rough weights would already be known) and then after engine assembly the crank would be spun up by a machine and final balancing at the pulley would take place. I say this because I've found 10mm bolts hammered under the pulley lip. Very cheap but cheerfull enough

didn't think you could balance the rotating assembly once in the block.
