Speed Six sometimes idles low and can cut out

Only started doing it recently, but concerning as it was thoroughly warmed up. Any thoughts on what it might be?

Have you tried the obvious? loose pipe, air leak etc?

If its been running fine up until then, it suggests something silly like that.
