Hi all,

I'm going to exchange my throttle cable. The throttle cable has a "ball" on its end so that the cable doesn't fray. What I have on the throttle link is a screw with hole. That means I have to remove the "ball" to fit the cable to the link which works (because it worked for some years wink) but I don't think it's the right way.
What would be the correct way / the correct part on the throttle link?

Cheers
Michael

On the 4.2 the cable locates in a cam on the odd bank. The cable pulls from below, rotating the cam anti-clockwise. To remove it you just rotate the cam so the throttles fully open, then there's enough slack in the cable to slide the nipple out.

Don't know what's standard on the 4.5 though.

Oh I see - thanks! I need to check the link itself but I'm sure mine is definitely different.
