Somebody from across the way came over while I was doing this and said, I like your steampunk theme....

I just used what I had to hand, a couple of sawn picture brackets and some cupboard hinges. perhaps I should keep the theme?

I think I'd have been tempted to fit the lamps into the holes beforehand, it's tricky to get to afterwards.

Yes, it is.

Actually a very square car, despite the damage. Great chassis and great interior, had it down the road for a test drive and engine feels/drives OK too.

Downside has been the fact iw as promised a bunch of parts, not too much, that we discussed over the phone. A lot of these parts were "forgotten" from the car on delivery and have yet to arrive. But I have been told they will be here before Wednesday so we shall see, will not be happy at all if they don't. For the third time, Very unhappy in fact. I write the odd article in the magazine so a review may be in order as i dislike people not adhering to their word......

Well I'm glad somebody has bought it and returning it to the road.

I've never bought anything from them but enquired about a car and had some very sharp responses as if I'd insulted their entire family.
