Rear screen carbon cover removal

Could anyone tell me how to remove the rear carbon cover that goes on the bottom of the rear screen so I can rub it down and paint it?
I've done the A pillar ones in situ but the rear would be easier if I took it off.

I removed mine without damaging it using a nylon builders string line. One end in each hand, slide it behind one end, pull tight and slowly cut away. Make sure you wear tough gloves. There are probably better ways but it's all I had to hand and it worked easily enough.

Very true but someone has previously painted it black so it will take a fair bit of rubbing down
