Where to Buy 18" Spyder Wheels for Cebera ???

Approx £150 each + tyres + fitting from pretty much any dealer/specialist. Usually comes in at around £1400 (with Toyo Proxes) from most places. Some specialists can track down 2nd hand sets for you, and let you order the tyres yourself from wherever you find them cheapest. Personally, I got the wheels for £240 2nd hand (I think you're normally looking at £300-350 second hand), and new tyres for £560. i.e. £800 total.

With you on that one gazzab. You'll also avoid the embarrassment of pulling up beside a max-power muppet with the same wheels on his 1.2 Nova!
I recall seeing someones profile on here with a Cerb with non-TVR wheels. I thought they looked pretty good when I first saw the pics, but I have since discovered a Honda Accord with the same wheels parked in my street, and I also saw them on a Ford Escort recently (with blacked out windows - how cool!). Now I think they look cheap and out of place on the Cerb.

Hey Mike, it's your Cerb then. Your wheels do look good, but having since seen them on 2 max-power-muppet-mobiles, they lose the effect for me (that's how my little mind works unfortunately).
I can see why you would have opted for something a little different though. I almost did the same with a previous Chim. Was very bored with the look of the standard wheels on my first Chim, so had Griff wheels put on my second Chim, but very quickly became bored with that look (the wheels are too small), so sort of toyed with the idea of after-market jobbies. Backed out due to the max-power effect though.

I think it depends on the actual wheels, though. Sure, if loads of people have the same wheels on a Cerbera, you're never going to stick out like a sore thumb, regardless of how out-dated they look, but there are some VERY nice after-market wheels that I think will probably age better than the spiders. I'm not talking your souped-up-saxo style Oxigin wheels, more like some of the Oz & BK rims that are out there. For example, I think the following would look great on a Cerbera now or in 5 years time:

i think the spiders are a great wheel and seriously considered getting some but was put off by the fact they are really TVR's only wheel,being fitted now to all models. this sort of spoils it a bit i think.
having said that i do agree with the max power thing,but when i fitted my wheels i hadn't seen them elsewhere(18 months ago) but obviously if someone sees something on a nice car they want it for their own,so i guess it can't be avoided.

I payed around £30 for tyre fitting + wheel balancing + steering tweaks, as part of a larger chunk of work being done on the car. There wasn't any work done on the suspension.
