Internal 'central lock' button flashing: Problem ?

Came home late on Saturday night to notice that the door locking button on the central console was flashing (regular frequency / green light).

Alarm is armed, but simply flashing at the normal frequency (hopefully suggesting that nothing has been tripped). Have I just never noticed that this button flashes in over 9 months ..... or is this an indication of something else that I should know about / take action on ???

Would appreciate any guidance.

As you will see from my thread, no one was able to offer help.

I've yet to have my dealer look at it, as it is not exactly urgent. I'll get them to check it the next time the car is in for something more important.

Cheers - was on holiday then ... missed thread. I've done same as you - checked that doors / boot are indeed locked.

It'll wait for the next trip to Barnet ...

Don't think you have anything to worry about here. Mine does exactly the same. It's contrary to the owner’s manual but as per previous threads a lot of other people have the same thing.

Having read the previous thread though, my boot light switch was not being switched off when the boot lid shuts. I could only tell this at night by seeing the boot light. No wonder my battery was discharging so quickly.

Having put some extra tape over the switch I will see whether this also stops the green flashing light.
