Has anyone got any ideas. Im having trouble starting the cerby sometimes. Press the button and the ignition lights come on but the engine doesnt turn over. Thought it may be the battery so i changed that, but it still sometimes doesnt start.

Its intermitent and normally tends to happen when im at the petrol station and just filled up. Most of the time if you leave it for a while it will start. I put the jump leads on it last time it didnt start and it did no good, but after about 5 minutes of trying it sprung into life.

Its really annoying me now because its sat outside and i keep going back to it every 40minutes (third time) and it still wont start.

Anybody else had the same trouble?

I had this trouble, turned out to be the immobliser.
If it is, it needs resetting (quick dealer fix).

I even had mine cut out whilst on the move, not too good and you soon find out what a Cerbera is like to drive without Power Steering, difficult to get it to the side of a road

Does the fuel pump run when you press the starter button? If not might be worth resetting the ignition control box.

I've got the exact same problem, it was mentioned here last week. The previous owner was aware of the problem and had a second starter button fitted, which fires the car up every time, and gets me out of trouble when the normal starter button doesnt work. Don't know what the problem is though...will check it out one day.
