Guys, anyone know where you can get centre inserts for the 18 inch spider wheels. The std gold ones are naff!!!

Had a look round at previous topics but couldnt find anything.
Website would be great or has anyone got a picture?
Cheers!

I lost one of the centre pieces on mine the other day so I ordered some TVR logo one's from a main dealer (Barnet) and they delivered them to me the next day.

Mind you though, they came as stick on's so if you've lost the centre piece, you have to order one of those too.

You can peel the gold stickers off the original centre piece and stick the TVR's ones onto the plastic.

Hope this helps.

Edited to say that the TVR one's look the nuts, not sure whether the dealers sell other types or not though.

yes, I did exactly the same. ends up costing a bit as you need to order the gold centres, peel off the gold, then stick on the TVR one. - Agree they look the nuts! - I kept losing mine on track days as they tend to shrink and fall out as the hub gets hot. - fixed it by sticking then in with silicone.

It's funny cos when I lost one before, the dealer gave me the insert with the gold sticker already stuck on at the same price as one without. Strange.

But they are pricey, 5 TVR stick on's cost me around 30 quid!

Also, I've been told to drill a hole in one of the clips on the inserts to prevent them from falling out, something to do with pressure building up and making them pop out. I was also told that bonding them in will make them pop out more often. Can't be true if you're getting away with that Alistair.

Replaced my naff gold centres with TVR ones via TMS (aka tvrgear.com) - not cheap though, £60 for the centres + caps + p&p! I'm sure any dealer can get these for you, or even direct from the factory may be cheaper.

Cheers,
Tommo

tvrgear always used to be great in my day - send immediately from stock, accept refunds if the part isn't correct, etc. Same price as TVR and/or dealers generally.

Cheers guys. I'll give Glenavarigill a phone today to see if they've got any of these bad boy stickers for the beast.
