What I'd give for a garage ...

Purchased some silver tyre caps from TVRCC fitted them, nicked within 2 days! Was not sure if I liked them or not, but thats not the point.
Then this morning, just 6 weeks after having some wa*ker leave a nice scratch on my pride 'n joy, now some other fu*ker has hit and cracked my wing mirror. Service due in about 6 weeks so will get fixed then, not a happy person today. Glad I'm going clay pigeon shooting at lunch time.

Know what you mean. My car is parked on the street. No problem for the last 4 months then twice in one week I've had someone reverse park into the bumper and into the front cutting into the fibreglass with their exhaust.
I really think some form of electric shock treatment would be perfectly acceptable in these circumstances.

What a nightmare!
Would be nice to catch them in the act! But I think that the people who do these kind of things, take one look at the car they have just scratched/hit and think "Oh bugger that will be expensive to fix, I'm Orrfff!".
I guess really I can't moan as I knew things like this where bound to happen, not having a garage. But three things in 6 weeks! It never rains ....

Paul, exactly the same thing happened to me last week. I live in a pretty posh area with garage and driveway. Apparantly there's a bit of a craze going on at the moment with the young kids about collecting the dustcaps9kind of like the fottbal stickers). I got another set from TVRCC as well. Fitted them and tightened with a pair of pliers, add to that some of the old vaseline and hey presto, those bad boys are never coming off unless your tooled up. There's hand prints all over my alloys(shown up by amount of brake dust, need to wash it this weekend)
