Has anyone actually pulled a girl with their Cerb? Im sorry if this offends any of the girls on here, but you have to use all the advantages you have. I myself thought that I had pulled a stunning girl who worked on reception as a temp for a while, she loved the car, but I guess when it came to it she didnt love its owner so much, such is life...sigh.

Nick.

Sounds like whatever problems you are having, you seem really depressed. Keep your chin up. Keep smiling.

No that was an unrelated incident...well almost. Anyway I am feeling somewhat better today, so thanks to all my virtual friends out there.

To be brutally honest.. if the car (ie show of money) pulled the girl, then what sort of girl is she..? (unless she's a petrolhead of course)

Louise really loves my Chimaera, but when we met I had a rusty old beetle.

If you're just after a quick then thats a different matter of course..

Cheers,
Matt.

I was driving along in the south of france and was waved down by a girl in a wedding dress! When I stopped she left her groom and jumped into my car.

How about that for pulling power.

P.S. I was in the Cobra at the time

If they think Im rich then Im afraid they will quickly be dissapointed, my Cerb was a dream of mine which had to be fullfilled, and I have not regretted a single moment of owning her.

Nope, very good looking though, followed by a small army of people. Apparently she had spotted me from inside the church. She ran out while the car was momentarily stationary in traffic. She literally jumped into the car. She didn't speak english and I didn't speak french.

When the mass of people piled out of the church I was seconds away from a wheelspin getaway. (Obviously the graduate had a large impact on my life)

Turns out she wanted to be photographed in the car! Lots of photos with her before her husband 'to be' asked me in pigeon english if he could take my place in the car for photo's .

Ten minutes of photos later I got a big kiss and a bottle of wine for my trouble. Lovely memories.

And what I remember most was that during the 15-20 minutes that car was holding traffic up, people behind got out of their cars, and not one of them got upset.

......

Believe it or not 10 minutes later, on the very same journey back to the flat, I was overtaken by none other than princess caroline of monaco in a red 355 ferr driving at ridiculous speed. In the most surreal journey in the cobra of my life I decided to give chase. Literally ten seconds later carved up and stopped by three black mercedes, and told that princess caroline allowed to drive fast but no one gets to follow.

Obviously they'd never seen the cannonball run.

When I got back to the flat my girlfriend refused to believe any of it.

I had the rusty old Beetle when I met my wife Matt, although I used to pick her up in my Dads Range Rover and didn't unveil the "baked bean" until I was well past first base!!

Four sayings in life, they all haunt me and at the same time serve me well.

1) There is no god.
2) Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
3) Life is not a rehearsal.
4) Never is a very long time.

At the time the brain can't cope, one of the sayings usually applies.

And my favourite, which is 'Be brave. Even if you're not, pretend to be - no-one can tell the difference'

Washing, ironing, straightening the kitchen now the fitters have nearly finished, nursing a cold....

Was going to see Flasher in hospital, but giving a cold to a man with a collapsed lung could be looked on as a bit unfriendly

Keep your chin up Nick. I'd meet you for a drink and a blather, but really not up to it at the moment. What about going to Sheepy's next meet (can't remember where it is - check his res). That is a really nice group of people, one of the best meets I've been to.
