AIR INDUCTION FILTERS??
Discussion
We fitted a couple this weekend.
Easy to do and certainly makes the car sound different/better.
My idle speed has dropped by 100rpm since fitting, but that could just be from the weather or other problems. I'm going to reset the ECU when I can be bothered and take a look at the diagnostics, as it's all a bit lumpy at the moment. Whether the air filters have added to this, I couldn't say.
Which reminds me, I need to send Joolz a cheque

there's info on the website about them, they offer NO increse in performance in the truest sense, what they do is:
look good
sound good
never need replacing
eliminate the power loss you get on the std filter as it starts to clog (std filter good for 350bhp maximum, cones good for 500 bhp).

I've had a thought on this...
Does the new setup suffer from any drop in power at high speed?
The reason I ask is that the factory setup has the air intake at the front of the car, cold air is forced in at speed, through the filter into the motor.
The New setup has the filters sitting in the engine bay where they will have to suck turbulent air. I appreciate there is a lot of air under a cerbera bonnet but will the face that it is not being forced in make a difference?

Jeremy, Julian Rowntree has this in his Cerbera - see August Sprint page 16/17. Rich...
As I understand it Rich, Julian has mounted the filters in the custom made airbox. I was wondering if the filters could be mounted as in the pictures below/above, but with ducting from the existing ram air box to feed them.
