Gas discharge front light problem

Help required...........
Cerbera 4.5 98 with upgraded front lights (pods not blended).
Mot passed last week all lights working. Now only dip beam off side working and full beam near side working. Side lights all ok. Don't think it's lamps as these are suppose to last forever and the problem happened with both lamps at the same time.
I've looked at the switch box at the rear and all connections seem fine. There is an extra relay attached to this switch box which I think is part of the upgrade.
Anyone else had this problem?

Whats the dealer say, as you've just bought the car. Didn't he change one of the bulbs last week?

Well the dealer used the MOT centre to sort the problem and it turned out to be the control box. He doesn't know what was wrong with it (I've asked). I could just take it there but its in Birmingham and I'm in Essex. Not just a small trip
