Just got back from my holiday to find more questions regarding reliability in the forum, so a quick post...

I trusted my Cerbera to get me 300 miles down the country to Gatwick for a flight, and the 300 miles back up it again at the end. No breakdowns, no panicking about missing the flight, no leaks or problems starting it after more than a week of sitting out in the cold & wet at the airport. I love my car.

That's all - I'll go back to nervously expecting the speeding tickets through the mail now.

Well said my man, after what is probably the worst start ever to TVR ownership (the fault of previous owners rather than the car) I LOVE the car and the whole concept, I am taking Mrs Bazza to Londiniumin a couple of weeks and we are going in the Cerb, as long as you show them no fear and respect them, there is NOTHING like it! Even Mrs Bazza is coming round to the idea, she did the school run in the Cerb this morning with little Bazza and his 2 mates grinning like lunatics!

BigBazza -- I worry about letting my wife drive the Cerb, but I haven't got the Hydratrack. How did she find it (I assume she's an average driver and not a petrolhead)?

Hi Carl, she drives it very well, I've not got Hydratrack either! She only "tootles" (Her words not mine) around but manages it fine, only problem she finds is the turning circle because she is living on fear of death if she bumps the alloys on a kerb!! lol, she came back triumphant this morning at finding reverse without the crunch - oh dear - By the way your car looks incredible in your profile, deserves a compliment

Baz,

Are you sure about the diff? I thought all 4.5's had them?

Well now you've both mentioned it maybe I'm wrong, I was under the impression it was an option, just shows what I know!! lol, so what effect does Hydratrack have then? As you can tell i'm a little green on thses issues!

All Cerb's have LSD - just that the hydratrak is speed rather than torque sensitive. Either way - makes no real difference to the safety aspect of driving it with a heavy foot, it will oversteer either way. The Cerbera has less torque low down than the Rover, so it's arguably much easier, aside from stalling it.

My wife drives my Cerb with confidence. Although she says she never gets out of it without shaking!!
I'm on the road about 2-3 days a week for work and use the Cerb unless it's more than about 200 miles round trip, then I take the wife's car and she takes the Cerb on her 15 mile round trip to work and back.
It also works well as on nights out I can have a and she bites my arm off to drive the Cerb home!!
