As long as it takes the RAC man to come and give me a bump start + 4 seconds! D@mn starter motor gone again. Anyway whats the status on these at the moment. Have been meaning to get it sorted for a while as it sometimes does not engage for several attempts. Are there any about at the moment or is it a case of removing and sending for rebuild?

If it's not engaging, it might be a problem with the starter's celenoid. If you can take the starter off you can have it tested. (Starter and celenoid are two seperate components, not sure how they are set up on a TVR though.) If the starter is okay then it's most likely the celenoid, if all wireing connections are good and tight, of course. I've replaced one, they're easy to fix. But I don't own a TVR so I'm not sure though.
