I did have Morpheus Geodesy in my old motor but its clumsy and not really hitech enough for Cerb, so i'm looking for feedback too!

I have been looking myself at some detectors and the 2 that I like, but would like feed back on are 1)the Road Angel with a Laser module, and 2) the Origin B2 GPS. I personally cannot see the point in having just a speed detector unless it can tell you when 'Plod' maybe pointing a laser at you, so would want a model that did the lot.

Have a look under the forum 'speeding, plod and the law'. Theres loads of comments in there. For the record, I use Road Angel.

Do you have the laser detector attached to your Road Angel?..I have heard very good reports on thr RA but dont see the point without some kind of laser detection...

Yes I do have the laser attachment, but I dont know how good it is, whether it picks up laser scatter (which it should do) or not. Apparently it does. The thing with laser guns, if they aim it at you, then you're caught. You've got no time to slow down.

If you do go for one, I got mine from Halfords who priced matched local companies. £340.

Yup,

Consensus is that the laser detector bit on the RA (and all the other ones I assume) is a complete waste of time for the aforementioned reason. The only protection against laser is a diffuser, but the legality of these is questionable.
