Firstly, how the hell do you get a decent flow of air to demist the windscreen?
Secondly and perhaps more stupidly, what's the correct way of reading the dipstick ? Apart from being in an awkward position, should it naturally curve with the 'add' and 'full' marks on the ouside of the curve ?
Loving first few days of ownership, even in the rain, hopefully it will dry out soon and I can give it a bit more right boot. Try and make the exhaust drown out the tappets, blimey they're loud.

Cheers Al.

I find turning of all the heater outlets you can and turning the A/C on does the trick. However the heater certainly in mine is pretty hopeless at the best of times.

Demisting? Get a clean smaller Chamios leather and wipe it.

To add to the demisting problem, you'll find ice on the inside of the windscreen when it gets cold. I always sprayed deicer onto a cloth and wiped the inside.

I also use the rain-x anti fog stuff, but find it needs re-applying regularly.....mines also got a heated screen, which doesn't work at the moment....something else on the list to do, when it was working though, kept the screen crystal clear.

all of above plus a decent cover, one that will really stop the water, if water is getting in via one of the footwells, condensation inside is 10 times worse. You will start to get the TVR electrical gremlins aslo. Dry Cerbera = happy motoring

Inside car is dry (apart from boot) and have full Weathershield cover. Will try Rain-X anti fog stuff.
How does water get in boot? Seems damp below l/h side of rear screen, can it leak through seal into boot? Have sealed round filler neck and boot hinge bolts, but still seems damp, unless this is condensation maybe from the still damp carpet.
Anyway not a major problem at the mo - see other post.

Thanks for suggestions, Al.

Reading oil (on a 4.5) - dont worry which way round the the lines on the dipstick are facing. The best way to read the oil level is to remove the dipstick, wipe it clean and the reinsert (trying not to wobble it around). Push it down but twitst it into place. Just pull it out and check the reading. I normally read it on the opposite side to the lined side.
