rapid clicking
Discussion
My fiesta (don't laugh) used to do this all the time when the battery didn't have enough charge in it to turn the starter motor. It seemed to make the immobiliser click like mad - 3 or 4 click noises a second whenever trying to start the car.
If I kept trying the alarm would do wierd things also... Putting some charge in the battery always resolved it.
I know it's not really Cerbera specific advice but it might help!

Indeed, I had the same thing the one time I asked too much of the battery.
Depending on the battery, either a recharge overnight or a new one will solve it.

About to get my Cerbera back with exactly the same problem. Battery was faulty, tried charging to no effect, found leak in the battery that wasn't charging correctly. Also a fuse was incorrect (have to excuse me I'm not bad with computers, cr*p with cars) hopefully will work fully when I get it back

Thanks for the replies chaps... my friendly RAC man had a butchers and found the battery with 12V charge... we all thought it was a flat battery issue.
Racked our brains... then just as we were about to bring it in to Andy at APM, we tried disconnecting the battery then reconnecting. 'Reboot' worked a treat, no short circuiting, maps and timing back to normal. Brilliant.
Now if I can just get my work to fix the power cut on the car lift, I can get my jam jar back on the road!
