The sun was shining so i thought i would give the Cerbie a spin this morning. Just as i hit the open road en route to Aylsebury, the heavens opened with a vengeance.

This was my first time out in the Cerb when raining heavily, and for some stupid reason i braced myself for all kinds of silly things happening eg flooded floor, torrential leak onto ones head, engine not liking the wet, electrics apopting a mind of their own

Happy to report everything was fine - windsreen wipers worked, no leaks, no nasty skids and no strange MIL flashes. The cockpit got a bit misty though - even the speedo was cloudy!

I now feel more reassured than ever that buying this car was the best decision i ever made

I know what you mean about the bracing yourself thing, it's almost like you feel like it's going to fall apart. I've now driven mine in freezing conditions and very heavy rain and happy to report that mine was fine too.

Mind you I must be mad, I've just cleaned mine in the pouring rain, can't stand to see it dirty!

I was out playing footy in that Ah, Sunday league footy in driving horizontal rain .....can't beat it!

Glad the car survived...at least mine had a free clean whilst I was playing.
